And breifly, mind you, during sicily, he was with an engineer detachment and as such had to set up all sorts of roads and bridges, which were quite important for the advance of allied froces, but nothing too special.
Both Monty and Patton were important, they just couldn't get over their little rivalry. Patton was stubborn and couldn't shut up and Monty was Prideful and had to be right. Those two could have done more if they had gotten over their fight
Well, they might not have won the war if it wasn't for the conflicting ideas between the leaders, but maybe it would have been easier :P
